Designing Myself: The Start of Building My Personal Brand
When you design for clients, you get to stand behind the work. You’re the creative problem-solver, the systems thinker, the one who helps bring someone else’s vision to life.
But when the client is you, everything changes. Every color choice, every line of type, every strategic decision suddenly feels personal. It’s not just about aesthetics anymore—it’s about identity.
For years, I’ve helped brands define who they are and how they show up in the world. Yet, when it came time to define myself—my values, my voice, my visual identity—I realized how vulnerable that process really is.
Why Start Now
After years designing for companies and clients, I wanted to take what I’ve learned and apply it inward—to build something that represents my story, my process, and my approach to creativity. This isn’t just a design project; it’s an exercise in clarity.
My goal isn’t perfection—it’s progress. To build a brand that evolves, just like I do.
Where I’m Starting
Right now, my focus is twofold:
Corporate & Portfolio Work: continuing to design for large-scale brands and projects that challenge my UX and design thinking skills.
Personal Brand Design Packages: slowly building a service where I can help individuals create brands that feel true to who they are—backed by real strategy and thoughtful design.
This blog lives in between those two worlds. It’s a space where I can share what I’m learning as I build my own identity, and in doing so, help others shape theirs.
What to Expect
In the coming posts, I’ll share:
The process behind designing my logo and visual system
How I’m defining my brand values and tone of voice
The tools and systems I use to keep creative work organized
Reflections on creativity, design, and entrepreneurship
This is the beginning of something new—both for my brand, and for anyone else out there taking the leap to create something meaningful.
So here’s to starting. To uncertainty. To design that’s deeply personal.
Welcome to the journey.
